How to install a “.cab” file to my Windows Mobile Phone or SmartPhone:
- make sure you already have ActiveSync Version 4.0 or up install on your PC.
- USB cable is connected your PDA Phone throughout the entire installation process
- After finishing download procedure and “Save as” window opens, you have to choose “Desktop” and click “Save”.
- Open your Microsoft ActiveSync and click the “Explore” icon
- Your PDA Phone will open with several icons inside. Then double click “My Pocket PC” icon
- Double click the “Windows” folder, the “Start Menu” folder, and then the “Programs” folder
- You will copy and paste or Drag the “.cab” file into the “Program” folder
- Then the file will start to be converted to mobile device format
- When the file has been converted, you can unplug your PDA Phone from the USB ActiveSync cable.
- On your PDA Phone click “start” menu, then “Programs”
- Choose the .CAB file and it will unpack and leave the file in the program folder
- Now your installation is completed. Enjoy your new program.
